Home And Household

Note: Please be aware that boarding a dog costs $70-90 per day in Singapore. Hence if your family goes on a 7 day trip, your family must be willing to spend $490 - $630 to board the dog to be cared for for 7 days.

Pet History

  • How old was the dog when you first got them, and how old were they if they have passed on?
  • If they passed on due to sickness, what was the diagnosis? If it was due to old age, was the dog euthanized?
  • Which part of the house did your previous dog sleep in, and what did you feed him or her?
  • Who walked and fed the dog, and how many times daily?
  • Who bathed the dog, and how often?
  • What type of food was given?
  • Share a little about their personality and which trainer they went to, if any.

Note: Our dogs are not trained on pee tray and do not pee at home.

Long-Term Planning

  • Note: We are asking this question because we want to understand if you have thought through the challenges of having a baby and a dog in the same household, and if you have a plan to ensure the dog will still be well cared for when the baby arrives.
  • When do you plan to have your first child?
  • How do you plan to assimilate the dog to the child or vice versa?
  • If there are challenges in the initial stages because the baby will take up alot of time and energy, what is your plan about the dog? If it needs interim months of care by another person in another home while you care for the baby, who in the family would be able to and willing to help?
  • Note: We are asking this question because we want to understand if you have thought through the challenges of having a baby and a dog in the same household, and if you have a plan to ensure the dog will still be well cared for when the baby arrives.
  • What is your plan about the dog when the grandchildren visit you or when you need to babysit the grandchildren?
  • How do you plan to assimilate the dog to the child or vice versa?
