Background
Brownie originally came from a low-income family who had him for 9 years. They confined him in the toilet for 9 years which led to weak legs and troubling furcoat and skin conditions. They went into further financial challenges and could not care for him further. One of our ex-volunteers was their neighbour and told us about Brownie's plight. He only weighed about 10kg and looked so fragile. We took over in April 2025.
Personality
Despite the neglect or lack of proper care over those 9 years, Brownie is thankfully in good overall health. His full blood tests was good, with no heartworm or tick fever as well. He is not sterilized yet and has settled well in his temporary foster's home. He has been steadily getting stronger in his health, appetite, body condition and mobility, getting walked twice a day. He gets along fine with other dogs although has not learnt how to play since he was in isolation for 9 years. We really hope someone out there has a heart for him and desire to give him a taste of a real home and love, as he still has many good years ahead of him.
